Hospitality
The hospitality industry has always been at the forefront of ensuring their hygiene regime due to its interface with members of the public and with the on-set of COVID-19 this has become more important than ever. Some key areas to consider in ensuring your guests and staff are safe:
- People - airborne and touch: hands, nose, throat, shoes, eyes, all these offer potential for carrying bacteria and viruses into your buildings – wash hands, use hand sanitiser, face masks (staff), foot mats with replaceable inserts at all entry points
- Inside your buildings: all areas where people are likely to touch, doors, door handles, locks, keys – sanitised on a regular basis, at least once a week with a residual sanitising product, kitchens should have a daily routine using the correct sanitisation regime; work surfaces, floors, walls
- Toilets, bathrooms and showers: cleaned on a daily basis with a biological cleaner
- Vehicles: need to be cleaned regularly and packages treated carefully with staff wearing gloves
- Outside buildings: windows and walls should be cleaned once a week with a residual sanitiser
