INDUSTRIAL
It has become more important than ever to look at reducing the risks for everyone and therefore reviewing your hygiene regime is essential. We have identified some key areas to consider in keeping your buildings, staff and customers safe:
- People - airborne and touch: hands, nose, throat, shoes, eyes, all these offer a potential for carrying bacteria and viruses into your buildings – wash hands, use hand sanitiser, face masks, foot mats with replaceable inserts at all entry points, people who have signs of illness should be tested prior to entry
- Inside your buildings: all areas where people are likely to touch, doors, door handles, locks, keys, light switches, handrails, lift buttons, telephones, computer keypads – sanitised on a regular basis, at least once a week with a residual sanitising product. Kitchens should have a daily routine using the correct sanitisation regime; work surfaces, floors, walls
- Toilets and showers: cleaned on a daily basis, with a biological cleaner
- Vehicles: need to be cleaned regularly and packages treated carefully with staff using hand sanitiser or wearing gloves
- Outside buildings: windows and walls should be cleaned once a week with a residual sanitiser
