Retailers have by their nature allowed everyone into their stores but have now realised with the on-set of COVID-19 things have to change. Some key areas to consider in ensuring your customers and staff are safe:
- People - airborne and touch: hands, nose, throat, shoes, eyes, all these offer a potential for carrying bacteria and viruses into your buildings – wash hands, use hand sanitiser, face masks (staff), foot mats with replaceable inserts at all entry points
- Inside your buildings: all areas where people are likely to touch, doors, door handles, locks, keys – sanitised on a regular basis, at least once a week with a residual sanitising product
- Toilets: cleaned on a daily basis with a biological cleaner - Outside buildings: windows and walls should be cleaned once a week with a residual sanitiser
